Jeff Forbes Named Senior Vice President and General Manager of IntelliCare
(PORTLAND, MAINE) – IntelliCare, A Medco Health Solutions Company (NYSE: MHS) and provider of outsourced healthcare call center services, announces that Jeff Forbes has been named as Senior Vice President and General Manager.
Over the last seven years, Mr. Forbes has served as Chief Information Officer and Chief Operations Officer for IntelliCare. During his time with IntelliCare, Mr. Forbes led the development and deployment of quality programs, new products, sales initiatives, operations improvement and new technology. Now, as SVP and General Manager, Jeff will continue to lead IntelliCare as a wholly owned, and independently operated, division of Medco Health Solutions.

Before joining IntelliCare, Forbes served as Vice President of Information Services at Barber Foods, where he turned IT into a strategic component by his early adoption of Internet technologies deploying a nation-wide Internet Promotion Management System for food service and retail brokers. Mr. Forbes also held various management positions at Unum Life Insurance, where he deployed customer management and knowledge-based underwriting systems, and National Semiconductor/Fairchild, where he implemented a global ERP system for manufacturing. He holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Maine in Orono, a bachelor’s of arts degree from University of Maryland, College Park and is certified in Total Quality Management (TQM).
IntelliCare’s distributed medical contact center network of telenurses manage telephone-based nurse line programs and offers disease management infrastructure services to a broad range of healthcare providers, health plans, and care managers. The company also develops and sells the intelligent application technology it uses to support its medical contact center operations.
