Clinical Oversight

IntelliCare has assembled a team of industry experts to oversee our telephone triage and clinical operations across our national network of contact centers and remote nurses.

Gary Setnik
Gary S. Setnik MD, FACEP
Medical Director
Dr. Setnik is responsible for all aspects of clinical quality and risk management for IntelliCare. He has served as medical director for Health Front Educational Services, a Boston-based medical call center company, since its inception in 1991. Dr. Setnik has practiced and taught emergency medicine for 26 years. He is chair of the emergency department at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and since 1977 he has been an Assistant Professor in the Division of Emergency Medicine at Harvard Medical School, where he has chaired several committees on emergency medicine. He has also served on the board of directors for the Regional EMS Advisory Council. Dr. Setnik holds a bachelor's degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and an M.D. from Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus.
   
Anita Bolster

Anita Bolster, RN, BS, CCM
Associate Vice President, Quality & Training
Ms. Bolster is responsible for the oversight of all Quality and Training activities for IntelliCare, including compliance with URAC accreditation standards, Quality Monitoring, Risk Management, Process Improvement and Training throughout the organization.  She brings over 30 years of health care experience, including both clinical and management experience.  Her focus has been in the quality, accreditation, process improvement and training arenas for the past 15 years.  As Executive Director of Corporate Quality of Martin’s Point Health Care, Ms. Bolster was responsible for implementing a corporate-wide quality management program to drive performance excellence in the delivery of clinical care and managed care services, while creating a culture that embraced continuous process improvement.  Anita also served as Executive Director of Sandy River Home Resources homecare agency, where she was responsible for operations, business development and state and federal regulatory compliance. In addition to a registered nursing degree from Southern Maine Community College, Ms. Bolster holds a bachelor degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of New England.

Donna Keeley Donna Keeley, RN
Director, Clinical Operations
Ms. Keeley is a 14 year veteran in the Health Care Industry. She brings over 12 years ambulatory care experience to her current role with 9 of those years specific to telehealth. Donna came to IntelliCare in August 2003 as a staff nurse and since has progressed through the organization to her current position where she helps manage 24-hour clinical services by leading her nursing teams toward operating efficiency while ensuring quality patient/caller care. In addition to her role as a team leader, Ms. Keeley participates in corporate wide process improvement teams and task forces to promote the development of an empowered nursing team. Ms. Keeley is an active member of the AAACN, and sits on the Telehealth Leadership Committee there. Prior to joining IntelliCare, Ms. Keeley has served in management and clinical positions in Emergency medicine, Pediatrics, and Ambulatory Clinics.
   
Mary Ann Thompson

Mary Ann Thompson, RN
Director, Clinical Operations

Ms. Thomson is responsible for the day-to-day clinical operations for Triage and Disease management programs and brings over 30 years of nursing experience to IntelliCare - including 8 years of Telehealth expertise. Mary Ann's previous experience includes Directorship of both profit and non-profit Homecare and Hospice agencies in East Tennessee. Ms. Thompson also brings active experience in government grant projects for access to care in Rural and Remote areas of the United states. She also served as Physician Extender for 10 years at a Level-One Trauma center in Pennsylvania. Ms. Thomson is an active member in the American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing (AAACN), National Hospice Organization and Church activities.

   
Mary Bushika Mary Bushika, RN
Director, Clinical Operations

Ms. Bushika is a Clinical Operations Director with responsibilities for disease management and triage nursing teams. Ms Bushika joined Intellicare as a Telehealth Nurse Consultant in 2002 and has been in her current role since 2005. Ms Bushika has been a Registered Nurse for 18 years with experience in the areas of Telemetry, Cardiovascular Surgery, Intensive Care, Post anesthesia and GI outpatient procedures. In addition, she has been a Patient Care Technician and Emergency Medical Technician. Ms Bushika is an active member of American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing (AAACN).
