About IntelliCare

IntelliCare is a healthcare contact center company that serves providers (physician groups and hospitals), payors (health plans, self-insured employers, and other groups), and clinical service providers (such as disease management companies).

With headquarters in Portland, Maine, IntelliCare’s URAC-accredited contact centers currently serve more than 250 clients and more than 850 health care facilities across the country. We have more than 300 employees, more than two-thirds of whom are registered nurses (RNs) who communicate directly with patients to provide healthcare decision support, triage, and other assistance.

IntelliCare operates using a unique distributed contact center model that includes physical brick and mortar facilities and a network of professional nurses who have the option of working remotely from home offices. Our physical contact centers are located in Portland, ME and Dallas, TX. This distributed model allows IntelliCare to fundamentally change the economics of staffing and operating call centers resulting in cost efficiencies and top quality service for our clients.

IntelliCare’s development strategy centers on the concepts of capturing relevant patient information, sharing relevant information across the healthcare team (including the patient), and using the information to proactively match patients with relevant programs and services.
